GLOBERMAN, 89,
of Farmington
Hills, died April
16, 2018.
She was the
plant lady. Her
green thumb
Globerman
saved many a sick
plant. Her spe-
cialty was the growing of African
violets; every square inch of her
homes was filled with them.
Mrs. Globerman is survived by
her son and daughter-in-law, Dr.
Marc and Bonnie Globerman;
daughter and son-in-law, Dr.
Adrea and Dr. David Benkoff;
grandchildren, Dr. Amanda
(Dr. Matthew) Salter, Blair
Globerman, Brian Globerman
and Reesa Benkoff; great-grand-
children, Daphne, Gavin, Liora
and Shane; brother and sister-in-
law, Sheldon and Cathy Peven;
sister-in-law, Esther Givner;
many other loving family mem-
bers and friends
She was the beloved wife of
the late Dr. Albert Globerman;
the sister-in-law of the late Bill
Givner, the late Francis and the
late Chuck Lutrin; the daughter
of the late Bertha and the late
Joseph Peven.
Interment took place at Adat
Shalom Memorial Park Cemetery
in Livonia. Contributions may be
made to a charity of one’s choice.

DR. HENRY GONTE, 82, of West
Bloomfield, died April 21, 2018.
He is survived by his beloved
wife, Arlene Gonte; sons and
daughter-in-law, Dr. William
Gonte, Dr. Sheldon and Dr.
Sonia Gonte, Gary Gonte; grand-
children, Brittany ( Josh) Moss,
Madeleine Gonte and Brett
Gonte; many loving nieces, neph-
ews, other loving family members
and friends.
Dr. Gonte was the brother of
the late Shirley Newman.
Interment took place at
Clover Hill Park Cemetery in
Birmingham. Contributions may
be made to Tamarack Camps or
the American Cancer Society.
