Nicole Paige Geller and Samantha
Jordan Geller will share the bimah
at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield
on Friday, April 20, 2018, as they lead
the congregation in prayer on the
occasion of their b’not mitzvah.
Joining in their celebration will be
their proud parents, Lisa and Michael
Geller, and sister Olivia. They are the
loving grandchildren of Barbara and
the late Sydney Geller, Murray Cohen
and the late Carol Cohen.
Nicole and Samantha attend
Clifford Smart Middle School in
Commerce Township. They per-
formed many mitzvah projects but
each felt one was most rewarding.
For Nicole, it was making dog toys
for donation to the Waggin’ Tails
Dog Rescue; for Samantha, it was the
donation of a portion of her gift to
the National Parkinson Foundation
in memory of her grandfather Sydney
Geller.
Jacob Lev
Goodman, son of
Barry and Nicole
Goodman, will be
called to the Torah
as a bar mitzvah
Saturday, April 21,
2018, at Adat
Goodman
Shalom Synagogue
in Farmington Hills.
Sharing in the sim-
chah will be his siblings Noah, Aaron,
Rebecca, Joel, David; and his proud
bubbie Evelyn Farber. He is also the
grandchild of the late Shirley and
Walter Goodman, and the late Fred
Farber.
Jacob is a student at Hillel Day
School of Metropolitan Detroit in
Farmington Hills. His mitzvah project
was to add joy to the lives of those
less fortunate by performing various
gemilut chasidim.
