Arthur was a voracious reader
his entire life and worked part-time
as a page at the Farmington Hills
Library, where his love of reading
was further fed.
In retirement, he volunteered
delivering meals for Meals on
Wheels.
Mr. Goldfarb was preceded in
death by his wife and partner of 61
years, Sybil Pudavick. He is survived
by a daughter, Daryl Sue Goldfarb
of Seattle, Wash.; nieces, Phyllis
(Charles Wixson) Gold Berenson of
Sonoma, Calif., Kathleen (Edward)
Golden Andrews of Encinitas, Calif.,
Marlene Gold of Boulder, Colo.;
nephew, Victor Gold of Fort Myers,
Fla.; many wonderful and loving
friends and former colleagues.
He was the son of the late
Morris and the late Anna Melamed
Goldfarb; brother of the late Paul
(the late Lillian Finkelstein) Gold
and the late Clifford Mendel (the
late Anne Krizanovic) Golden.
Interment was at Nusach Hari
Cemetery. Contributions may be
made to Hospice by the Bay, 17 E.

grandchildren, Liz (Chris) Jordan,
Amy Grenda, Jay Hodess, Andrew
Hodess; great-grandchildren,
Logan, Keira and Wyatt.
Mrs. Hodess was the beloved
wife of the late Joseph M. Hodess;
grandmother of the late Geoffrey
Grenda; twin sister of the late
Janet Spinner; sister of the late
Sheldon (Helen) Beckman; daugh-
ter of the late Kitty Langer and
the late Jack Beckman.
Interment took place at Nusach
Hari Cemetery in Ferndale.
Contributions may be made to the
Friendship Circle. Arrangements
