T

he interior design world (along with the fashion,
beauty and food worlds) anticipates with bated
breath the reveal of the annual Pantone Color of the
Year — it literally sets the tone for all things design for the
upcoming year.

mic and super gorgeous. It’s also easier to use in décor
than one might think — whether going for a head-to-toe
look or punches of pop. “We wanted to pick something
that brings hope and an uplifting message,” says Leatrice
Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute.
