Global Detroit’s research docu-
ments that refugees have been a
source of strength to the Michigan
economy — launching new busi-
nesses, providing much-needed labor
and achieving self-sufficiency within a
very short time after their arrival.
While refugee policies and politics
necessarily extend beyond economics
and must start with the humanitarian
imperatives, Global Detroit’s research
verifies that being welcoming to refu-
gees is in our region’s own economic
self-interest.
In fact, America’s history as a
place of refuge — inscribed in the
poem by Emma Lazarus, a Jewish
American poet, on the Statue of
Liberty’s base — is what brought my
great-grandfather here. I think of the
hundreds, if not thousands, of jobs
that my family has helped create for
fellow Americans and recognize that
opening our doors to other victims of
persecution will secure, not threaten,
America’s economic future. •

In this post, we’ll help you shine the light on
few crucial issues you need to know before
purchasing any supplements. Don’t be fooled with
products sold by your physician unless you read
the label.

IN THE FIRST POST, WE ASKED: CAN YOUR
SUPPLEMENTS BE NOTHING MORE THAN A
SCAM? THE ANSWER IS YES!
The New York Attorney General conducted an
investigation on supplements sold at 4 national
retailers. What they found is more shocking
than the latest politician scandal! 4 out of 5
supplements not only contain ZERO herbs —
they also do not contain the main ingredient/herb
advertised on their label!

DR. JOEL WALLACH Sues the FDA 8 times
and Wins!
The lawsuit exposed the miraculous benefi ts
of one nutrient-like trace mineral, Selenium
(200mcg daily). This nutrient can help prevent
breast cancer by 82%; prostate cancer by 69%;
colorectal cancer by 64%; and lung cancer by
39%. Make sure you use Selenium Glycinate
sourced from Albion Minerals.

ACCORDING TO DR. TED BROER:
The number one children vitamin brand in the
U.S. contains ingredients that most parents will
never intentionally expose their children to. They
contain aspartame which causes brain tumors,
brain cancer, seizures and headaches. They may
also contain hydrogenated oil, talc, and GMO
corn starch. Dr. Broer is also quoted as saying:
“Diabetes drugs cause pancreatic cancer and
kidney failure.” (ref: you tube Benny Hinn -
Breakthrough Wellness & Longevity - Dr. Ted
Broer/Sharon - Part 2)

DR. KATE RHEAUME, RESEARCHER, NOTED:
Prescription Vitamin D can deposit calcium
into the heart tissues and not the bones! She
discovered that, you must include only D3 or
organic D with MK7, the most potent and active
form to help direct calcium deposit into the bones
and out of the arteries and the heart. As Dr. Joel
K. Kahn, MD mentioned on PBS, “they’re fi nding
increase amount of calcium deposits around the
heart tissue, which is a silent killer!”

TIPS FOR CHOOSING A MULTIVITAMIN
t Look for a multi-daily where the dosage 2 or
more capsules per day.
t Liquid vitamin is best, especially to eliminate
possible choking hazard for kids and elderly.
t You pay for what you get. The more expensive
the ingredients, the better the product. Spend
few minutes on the website. Make sure they
use GMP/FDA approved facilities. Learn about
their product sources if it’s listed on their labels.
t Don’t buy it if it’s too cheap or if it says “doctor-
recommended or pharmaceutical grade.
