More than 150 people gathered at the Great Lakes Culinary Center on
Sept. 6 for Kadima’s Annual Meeting sponsored by Vesco Oil Corporation.
The agency recognized Barbara Kratchman as Community Volunteer of the
Year, Kroger Co. of Michigan as Community Partner of the Year, Malik Burch
as Client Volunteer and Tiffany Lee as Employee of the Year.
Kadima’s leadership spoke about the agency’s services and vision for
the future. Kadima President Evan Leibhan installed seven new board
members.
“This was the largest board installation for the agency in recent history
and is a sign of our continued growth and the community’s greater under-
standing of the work we do,” says Eric Adelman, executive director. “This
is an exciting time for Kadima. Our programs and partnerships continue to
evolve, while new volunteers continue to come on board to support indi-
viduals with chronic mental health challenges in our community.” •
