also the loving grandchild of the late
David Buckfire and great-grandchild
of Ada Karg.
He is a student at West Hills
Middle School in Bloomfield Hills.
As part of his most meaningful mitz-
vah project, Toby helped to combat
hunger in our community by pack-
aging food at Yad Ezra in Berkley.

West Bloomfield.
She is the loving
daughter of Fawn and Adam Chayet.
Sharing in her celebration will be
her proud big brother Matthew and
adoring grandparents Paul Alekman,
Harvey Chayet, and Adela and Jack
Weisman. Abby is also the grand-
daughter of the late Ann Alekman.
Abby is a student at West Hills
Middle School in Bloomfield Hills.
As part of her most meaningful
mitzvah project, she assembled and
personally delivered Purim packages
to Beaumont Children’s Hospital.

ents Barbara and Maury Katzman,
Jackie Cohen Warnick and Allan
Warnick. Courtney is also the loving
grandchild of the late Stewart Cohen.
She is a student at Warner Middle
School in Farmington Hills. For her
most meaningful mitzvah experi-
ence, Courtney took part in the West
Bloomfield Relay for Life to raise
funds to help the American Cancer
Society fund research, patient care
programs, and education and preven-
tion information.

Jackson Pierce
Finkelstein (Moshe

Michael Finkelstein,
will be called to the
Torah in honor of his
bar mitzvah on Mt.
Masada in Israel on
Finkelstein
Thursday, Aug. 24.
He will be joined in
his celebration by his sisters Lexie and
Julia, and proud grandparents Linda
Merkle, and Cheryl and Albert
Finkelstein. Jackson is also the loving
grandson of the late Richard Merkle.
Jackson attends Detroit Country
Day School in Beverly Hills. As part of
his mitzvah project, he enjoyed volun-
teering at Gleaners Food Bank, where
he collected and sorted food for distri-
bution to soup kitchens, shelters and
food pantries that feed hungry fami-
lies throughout southeast Michigan.
