ABRAHAM
PASTERNAK, 93, of
Southfield, died June
16, 2017.
Mr. Pasternak joined
the Army and served
during the Korean
Conflict. He was
active in many organizations, including
being a former board member of the
Holocaust Memorial Center, a volun-
teer at Yad Ezra, Meals on Wheels and
Sinai Hospital. He was also active with
the Voice/Vision Holocaust Survivor

Michigan-Dearborn.
He is survived by his son and daugh-
ter-in-law, Marty and Tammy Kornfield
Pasternak of Merrick, N.Y.; daughter,
Judy Pasternak; grandchildren, Hillary
Pasternak, Jenna Pasternak; many
nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-
nephews.
Mr. Pasternak was the beloved hus-
band for 60 years of the late Geraldine
Pasternak.
Contributions may be made to Yad
Ezra, 2850 W. 11 Mile Road, Berkley, MI

48072; Meals on Wheels, c/o National
Council of Jewish Women, 26400 Lahser
Road, Suite 100, Southfield, MI 48034;
or the Holocaust Memorial Center,

Hills, MI 48334. Interment was held
at Oakview Cemetery in Royal Oak.
Arrangements by Hebrew Memorial
Chapel.

PAULINE ROSS, 97, of Denver, Colo.,
died June 21, 2017.
She is survived by her sons and
daughters-in-law, Noah and Kathy

Ross, Philip and Debbi Ross; daughter
and son-in-law, Roslyn and Jon Steeler;
grandchildren Bradley Ross and Traci
Ross, Julie and Beth Steeler, Ariel
and Grace Ross; great-grandchildren,
Brandon and Logan; many other loving
family members and friends.
Mrs. Ross was the beloved wife of
the late Robert Ross. Interment took
place at Machpelah Cemetery in
Ferndale. Contributions may be made
to Hadassah or Habitat for Humanity.
