ARNOLD GORDON, 79, of West
Bloomfield, died Feb. 10, 2017.
He is survived by his beloved
wife, Carolyn Gordon; sons
and daughters-in-law, Michael
and Lyanne Kaplan, Adam and
Sarah Gordon, Jeffrey Kaplan;
daughters and sons-in-law, Lori
and Offer Michaeli, Kimberly
Kaplan, Jennifer and Steve Ribiat,
Deborah Kaplan; sisters, Esta
Bloom, Corrine Egan; eight lov-
ing grandchildren; sisters-in-law,
brothers-in-law, many loving
nieces, nephews, other family
members and friends.
Mr. Gordon was the brother of
the late Marilyn (the late Jerry)
Levy; brother-in-law of the late
Ed Bloom.
Contributions may be made
to the Michigan Parkinson
Foundation or to a charity of
one’s choice. Arrangements by
Dorfman Chapel.

died Feb. 6, 2017.
He was an
ophthalmolo-
gist who prac-
ticed at Sinai
Gans
Hospital. He also
was a partner at
Ophthalmology
Associates with offices in
Southfield and West Bloomfield.
Dr. Gans is survived by his
wife of 43 years, Susan Gans;
daughter, Lisa Gans Goldberg of
Bloomfield Hills; son and daugh-
ter-in-law, David and Janet Gans
of Birmingham; grandchildren,
Perry Goldberg, Ian Goldberg,
Jolie Goldberg, Jamie Gans and
Chad Gans; brother and sister-
in-law, Ted and Dorothy “Dottie”
Gans of Waterford; sister, Gail
Horwitz; nieces, nephews and
caregiving family.
He was the dear brother-in-law
of the late Marvin Horwitz.
Interment was at Beth El
Memorial Park Cemetery.
