SHUBOW, 73, of Oak
Park, died Dec. 12, 2016.
He is survived by
his brother and sister-
in-law, Robert and
Elisabeth Shubow. He
is also survived by his
Shubow
former wife and dearest
friend, Judith Wietzman
Shubow; and many lov-
ing nieces, nephews, cousins and a world
of friends
Mr. Shubow was the devoted son of the
late Samuel and the late Yetta Shubow; the
loving brother of the late Linda Gold.
Interment was at Machpelah Cemetery.

Justin Slootsky, Zachary Slootsky, Kendall
Slootsky, Clayton and Rachel Aazlor, Jared

Mr. Slootsky was the beloved husband of

in-law of the late Ralph and the late
Shirley Slootsky, the late Joseph Slootsky,
the late Mildred and the late Mel Rubin;
dear father-in-law of the late Robert
Pukitis.

JERRY K. STEIN, 85, of Portland, Ore.,
formerly of Michigan, died Dec. 14, 2016.
A Navy veteran, Mr. Stein was also a
carpenter, an engineer and a professional
ballroom dancer.
He is survived by his children, Adam
and Sara Stein, Ralph Stein and Kendra
Lane; grandchildren, Ray, Ben, Jacob and
Elizabeth.
Mr. Stein was the devoted son of the late
Anna and the late Ralph Stein; cherished
brother of the late Sylvia Turco.
Interment was at Workmen’s Circle
Cemetery. Contributions may be made to
a charity of one’s choice. Arrangements by
Hebrew Memorial Chapel.
