She is survived by

and Jonathan Schmerling; nephews, Bruce
Schmerling and Caleb Bennett.
Mrs. Rocher was the devoted daughter of
the late Michael and the late Anne Gallanda;
aunt of the late Elizabeth Schmerling.
Interment was at Clover Hill Park

CYNTHIA L. RUBIN,
76, of Beverly Hills,
died Nov. 26, 2016.
She taught kinder-
garten for 32 years, the
majority of the time
at Burton Elementary
School in Huntington Woods. She
retired in 1996.
Mrs. Rubin is survived by her husband
of 51 years, Norman Rubin; brother and
sister-in-law, Allen and Adina Linden;
sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Paula
and Melvin Menuck, Edith Linden and
Faye Starr; nieces and nephews, Sylvia
and Ronald Marabate, Arlene and Juan
Zapata, Jonathan and Wendy Linden,
Ann and Glen Glater, Michele and Seth
Corin, and Jason Menuck.
She was the devoted daughter of the
late Samuel and the late Bella Linden;
the loving sister of the late Fred Linden.
Interment was at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery. Contributions may be

JAMES H. RUBY, 78,
of Royal Oak, died Nov.
26, 2016.
He is survived by his
