to announce the birth of their son, Wyatt Maddox (Meir).
Welcoming Wyatt home is 3-year-old big brother Elliot Hank.

Gartner of Bloomfield Hills, Geri Feigelson of Farmington Hills
and Stuart Ba nk of Houston. Wyatt is named in loving memory

As part of his mitzvah experience, he
collected donations and played basket-
ball for Hoops for Heart to benefit the
American Heart Association, which he
found very rewarding.

Ian is a student at Roeper School in
Birmingham. As part of his mitzvah
project, he made blankets and welcome
packages for residents of the South
Oakland Shelter staying at Temple Israel,
which he found to be very rewarding.

For her most meaningful mitzvah proj-

and shoes to Schoola, a charity that ben-
efits local schools, and Girls on the Run,
an inspiring learning program for girls.

Alexis is a student at West Hills
Middle School in West Bloomfield. As
part of her mitzvah project, she donated
children’s books to the Forman Family
Library at the Orchards Children’s
Services. She found this experience to be
very rewarding.

Nov. 18. Sharing in her celebration will
be her siblings Rachael, Danielle and
Josh. She is the grandchild of Florence
and the late Harvey Herrmann, and
Linda Sandler and Larry Sandler.
Michelle attends Warner Middle
School in Farmington Hills. Among her
many mitzvah experiences, she found
her most meaningful to be participat-
ing in the Shabbat in the Box program,
which involved creating, decorating and
filling Shabbat boxes that are then deliv-
ered to homebound older adults and
families.
