Obituaries

MAURICE
KELMAN, 80, of
Troy, died Oct. 16,
2016.
He was a distin-
guished professor of
law at Wayne State
University. He grad-

uated from Wayne’s
law school and
received a master
of laws from Harvard University. His
many other accomplishments were
given in testimonial at the memorial
service held at Dorfman Chapel.
Mr. Kelman will be forever in the
memories of his beloved family:
sister, Estelle (late Daniel Babitch);
nieces and nephews, Amy (Barry)
Roth, Neil (Roger Workman) Babitch,
Leland (Cheryl Carpenter) Babitch;
great-nieces, Molly and Olivia Roth;
great-nephews, Bradley and Dylan
Babitch.
He was the cherished son of the late
Louis and the late Rae Kelman.
Contributions may be made to
Michigan Humane Society or a
charity of one’s choice. Interment
was at Adat Shalom Memorial Park
Cemetery in Livonia. Arrangements
by Dorfman Chapel.

RICHARD LUSTIG,
73, of Birmingham,
died Oct. 17, 2016.
He is survived by
his son and daughter-
in-law, Dov and
Allison Lustig of West
Bloomfield; daughter,
Lustig
Marni Lustig of Los
Angeles, Calif.; grand-
children, Alexander
and Jillian Lustig; sister and brother-in-
law, Nancy and Howard Shapiro; brother,
Ronald Lustig; stepchildren, Katie Rose
and Michael Pawlowski, Kristy Shaheen,
and Lesley and Doron Eisenberg. He
is also survived by his former wife and
mother of his children, Bernice Lustig.
Mr. Lustig was the devoted son of the
late Herbert and the late Marion Lustig;
the dear stepson of the late Milton Eisler;
the loving brother-in-law of the late
Cynthia Lustig.
Interment was at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery. Contributions may be

Klegman of Traverse City; nieces,
Rachel (Brandon) Bartkowiak and
Sarah Klegman; great-nephews,
Sullivan and Hudson; sister-in-law,
Kimberly Klegman; lifelong friend,
Randy Gross.
Audrey was the sister of the late
Lawrence Klegman.

JEANNETTE MACWILLIAMS, 93, of
West Bloomfield, died Oct. 19, 2016.
She is survived by her sons and
daughters-in-law, Steven and Michele
MacWilliams, Keith and Mary
MacWilliams, Henry MacWilliams;
daughters and son-in-law, Suzanne
MacWilliams, Amy MacWilliams, Jo
Ann MacWilliams-Wolf, Miriam and
Barry Moxon; daughter-in-law, Gale
MacWilliams; grandchildren, Erica,
Meara, Ethan, Ryan, Hunter, Reid,
Rebecca, Emma and Ella; brother and
sister-in-law, Milton and Eunice Ring;
many loving nieces, nephews, other fam-
ily members and friends.
Mrs. MacWilliams was the beloved
wife of the late Jack MacWilliams; moth-
er-in-law of the late Dr. Lawrence Wolf;
mother of the late Bruce MacWilliams;
sister of the late Hermina Leib and the
late Isabel Lloyd.
Interment was held at the B’nai Israel
Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Novi.
Contributions may be made to the Leo
M. Franklin Archives at Temple Beth
El or the Michigan Humane Society.
