EDWIN GREENFIELD,
87, of West Bloomfield,
died Sept. 4, 2016.
He is survived by
his wife of 66 years,
Faye Greenfield; chil-
dren, Linda Greenfield
and Daniel Mullen of
Greenfield
Waterford, and Steven
Greenfield of West
Bloomfield; grand-
children, Bradley and Brittany Greenfield;
brother-in-law, Stanley Salmore; other lov-
ing family and friends.
Mr. Greenfield was the cherished father
of the late Frank Greenfield; the loving
brother of the late Betty Salmore; the dear
brother-in-law of the late Selma and the late
Ben Jaffe.
Interment was at Machpelah Cemetery.

HARRY PAUL KAPLAN,
94, of Lutz, Fla., formerly
of Michigan, died Sept.
11, 2016.
He is survived by his

and Marc Pomerantz
of Lutz, Fla.; grandchil-

Adam Hirsch Pomerantz-Hirsch, Sarah
Pomerantz; great-grandchildren, Bella,

Vivian Lazor, Evie Hirsch.
Mr. Kaplan was the beloved husband for
41 years of the late Thelma Kaplan.

LESLEY (FINE) KOCHIK, 60, of Traverse
City, died Aug. 31,2016, from complica-
tions of multiple sclerosis.
She was born Aug. 21, 1956, to Melvin
Fine and Pauline Seigel. Family and
friends were Lesley’s love and joy. She was
an avid Tigers’ fan and also enjoyed travel-
ing, the slots and watching TV on her big
screen.
Mrs. Kochick is survived by her devoted
son, Matthew Kochik; mother, Pauline
Seigel; sisters, Dana Fine and Lauren Fine;
nephews, Justin Fine and Jake Herman.
The family wishes to thank all of those
who cared for Lesley in the past three
years, in particular, Elyse McElderry, who
provided exceptional care and love.
Mrs. Kochik was preceded in death by
her father, Melvin Fine.
Services were held in Traverse City
at Reynolds Jonkhoff Funeral Home.

died Sept. 7, 2016.
She is survived by her sons and daugh-
ters-in-law, Jeffrey and Valerie Milgrom,
Randy and Patricia Milgrom, and Scott and
Lana Milgrom; grandchildren, Amanda
and Torrey Seaton, Dan and Caroline
Kraus, Samuel and Katie Milgrom, Rachel
Milgrom and her fiance, Jon Overberg, and
Hannah Milgrom; great-grandchildren,
Ronin Seaton, Remy Kraus and Aiden
Milgrom; sister, Bertha Rochlen; nieces
and nephews, Carol and Tom Crotty, Gary
and Ilene Rochlen, Gayle and Howard
Eder, Terry Freed, Ellen Freed, Joel and
Sharon Passov, Michael and Patti Passov,
Bill Berman, Michael Berman; all the great-
nieces and great-nephews among the Freed,
Rochlen, Eder, Passov and Berman families.
She was a memorable special friend to the
entire Dembs family and a most dedicated
and dear “sister” to all “The Girls,” Fran’s
group of lifelong friends from Thirkell
Elementary and Central High. She adored
all.
Mrs. Milgrom was preceded in death by
her beloved husband of 48 years, Seymour
“Sid” Milgrom; later by her loving compan-
ion of 10 years, Phil Dembs. She was the
cherished sister of the late Morris Freed,
the late Jack Freed and the late Ida Passov;
the dear sister-in-law of the late Hyman
Rochlen, the late Mamie Freed and the late
Manny Passov; the loving aunt of the late
Bobby Passov and the late Lee Berman.

Interment was at B’nai Israel Memorial

DR. JEROME “JERRY”
ISRAEL MILLMAN, 82,
of South Pasadena,
Calif., died Aug. 14,
2016, at home.
He was a devoted
husband to his wife, Dr.
Felicitas “Fely” A. de la
Millman
Cruz. They met in 1972
and were blessed to have
enjoyed a loving and ful-
filling marriage for nearly 40 years.
Jerry was born on April 19, 1934, to
Louis Millman and Sara Michaels Millman
in Detroit, where he grew up. He obtained
both his undergraduate and medical
degrees from the University of Michigan,
Ann Arbor. He enjoyed a successful career
as an anesthesiologist and retired in 1996
from Centinela Hospital Medical Center
in Inglewood, Calif., where he had worked
for 20 years.
Dr. Millman was preceded in death by
his parents; late wives, Audrey Sinclair
Millman and Dena Shevitz Millman; and
his son, Martin (Marty) Neil Millman.
He is survived by his wife, Fely; daugh-
ter, Elissa Millman; daughter-in-law,
Zorrest Pennell Millman; grandchildren,
Meleigha and Martin Brant Millman;
brother, Stanley Millman and wife,
Doreen; sister, Elinor Millman Bernstein
and husband, Howard; many nieces and
nephews across the country.
The memorial and funeral services were
held at the Old North Church, Forest Lawn
Hollywood Hills, 6300 Forest Lawn Drive,
Los Angeles, CA 90068. Contributions may
