dren Mallory Alyssa Sommerfeld and Alex
James Wolf.
Mallory received her bachelor’s degree
from Oakland University and has a B.A. in
communication.
Alex is a graduate of the University of
Toledo with a B.S. in mechanical engi-
neering. He is a product engineer at Alex
Products.
The couple will be married in September
by Rabbi Harold Loss of Temple Israel in West Bloomfield.

West Bloomfield are thrilled

their daughter Rachel Alyse Phillips to Joey
Victor Bigio, son of Dr. Eileen Bigio and Mr.
Preston Kool of Riverside, Ill., and Mr. and
Mrs. Jerry Bigio of Colleyville, Texas.
Rachel and Joey were married recently at
the Ritz-Carlton in Chicago, Ill. Close family
friend Rabbi David Castiglione and cousin of
the bride Cantorial Soloist Jeanne Diamond
performed the ceremony.
Maid of honor was Rachel’s sister Jennifer
Phillips-Weckstein. Best Man was Daniel Ir.
The ring bearers were Liam Weckstein, nephew of the bride, and Carter
Maupin, nephew of the groom. Flower girls were Abby and Anna Adams, cous-
ins of the groom, and Taylor Maupin, niece of the groom.
Rachel is the granddaughter of Bea Phillips of Farmington Hills. Joey is the
grandson of Nancy Hanshew of Peoria, Ariz.
The newlyweds went on their honeymoon in the Maldives. Rachel and Joey
reside in North Hollywood, Calif.

65th wedding anniversary with
festivities on several occasions with their
family, Jeffrey and Sharon Diskin, Stuart
and Carol Diskin, Robert and Hillary Diskin,
grandchildren and extended family. Rosalind
and Dr. Harvey Weil of Akron, Ohio, also
joined in. The couple are wished many more
