July 28, 2016.
He is survived by
his loving parents,

Herzoff; brothers,

Bindes; aunts and uncles, Beth Rich,
Barbara (Steve) Schwartz, Jennifer
(Michael) Fishman; many other lov-
ing family members and a world of
devoted friends.
Mr. Herzoff was the grandson of
the late Dorothy and the late Stanley
Herzoff; nephew of the late Steve Rich.
Interment was held at Clover Hill
Park Cemetery in Birmingham.

or to a mental health organization
of one’s choice. Arrangements by

93, of West
Bloomfield, died July
28, 2016.
He is survived
by his wife of 70
years, Shirlee Ingber;

and Nikki Ingber; grandchildren,

Komorn, Matthew Ingber, Hillary and
Matthew Ostreicher, Allison Ingber,
Aaron Ingber and his fiancee, Jessica

brother and sister-in-law, Gerald and
Rachel Ingber; sister-in-law, Adeline
Stern; many loving nieces, nephews
and many friends.
Mr. Ingber was the loving brother
of the late Abe and the late Mollie
Ingber, the late Ruth and the late Nate
Perlman; the dear brother-in-law of
the late Al Stern and the late Alan
Teitel.
Interment was at Adat Shalom
Memorial Park. Contributions may

DR. SANDER
“SANDY”
KUSHNER, 81, of
Suttons Bay, Mich.,
formerly of
Bloomfield Hills,
died July 25, 2016.
Adored and
Kushner
respected by his
family, countless
friends, colleagues
and patients, Sandy was a pillar of the
medical community in Detroit and
Sutton’s Bay for more than 55 years.
He graduated from Des Moines
Osteopathic Medical School in 1960.
After graduation, he owned and
ran a flourishing family practice in
the Detroit area. He then moved to
Sutton’s Bay, where he practiced urgent
care medicine. He was a clinical pro-
fessor at Michigan State University
College of Osteopathic Medicine and
the recipient of prestigious honors and
awards for his teaching and contribu-
tions to the field of osteopathic family
medicine.
When he was not spending quality
time with his family and dear friends,
he could be found on his sailboat,
Celestial, on the tennis court or prun-
ing his roses in his garden. He loved
classical music, jazz and Barbara
Streisand.
Mr. Kushner was the beloved hus-
band of Kathy Kushner and the late
Elinor Kushner; devoted father of
Dr. Marla Kushner (Robert Sawyer)
of Chicago, Ill., Wendy Weckstein
(Dr. Sander) of Traverse City, Mich.,
and Dr. David Kushner (Stefanie) of
Middleton, Wis.; loving stepfather of
Michelle Gerard (Christian) and T.J.
Swoveland (Dr. Laura Susick); lov-
ing grandfather of Jordan and Noah
Sawyer, Ethan, Devin and Taylor
Weckstein, Alex, Rachel and Emily
Kushner; dear brother of Eilene
Gerofsky (Merrill) of London, Ontario,
Karen Roth of New York, N.Y.; beloved
uncle of Steven Gerofsky (Heather),
Robert Gerofsky and Keith Gerofsky,
Jonathon Roth (Lisa Price) and
Mathew Roth (Stephanie King).
