TERRIFIC THAI
This fall, luxury apartment complex
The Albert will welcome the second
Go! Sy Thai in the city of Detroit (1214
Griswold St.). The restaurant is the fast-
casual adaptation of the successful and
thriving Birmingham-based Sy Thai,
which has been around since 1993 and
has also expanded to locations in Troy
and St. Clair Shores.
Expect a 29-seat space similar to its
Midtown location (4240 Cass), which
offers a slightly condensed version of the
full sit-down menu but also boasts deliv-
ery to the surrounding areas. Staples like
fried rice, curry and noodle dishes will
all be available, made-to-order, as well
as their soups and spring rolls.
Owner Cedric Lee anticipates finding
a successful home in Capitol Park, tell-
ing dBusiness its menu of classic Thai, as
well as a number of gluten-free, vegetar-
ian and vegan options, make Go! Sy Thai
a logical fit for the neighborhood.
