Perry Witkin of Minneapolis, Minn.,
are delighted to announce the engagement of
their children Elizabeth Lauren Traison and
Ari Juran Witkin.
Elizabeth is a graduate of the University
of Michigan and a certified health coach
and professional food educator at Einstein
Medical Center.
Ari is a graduate of Goucher College
and is studying to be a rabbi at the
Reconstructionist Rabbinical College, where
he is a Wexner Graduate Fellow.

Mr. Gessin earned his B.A. in communica-
tions with a certificate in business from the University of Wisconsin in Madison
and is an associate director at Newmark Grubb Knight Frank, a corporate real
estate advisory firm.
The couple reside in New York City, where a November wedding is planned at
the Yale Club of New York.

ois and Mark Langberg of
Bloomfield Hills are thrilled to
announce the engagement of their
daughter Laura Langberg to Anson Smuts,
son of Evon Smuts-Rogers of Cape Town,
South Africa, and the late Michael W. Smuts.
Laura earned her bachelor’s degree in
nursing at the University of Michigan and
her master’s degree in nurse-midwifery at
New York University; she will join Women’s
Excellence as a nurse-midwife this summer.
Anson earned his bachelor’s degree at the
University of Cape Town and his master’s
degree in international political economy
at Fordham University. He is a manager at
Floyd Advisory.
The couple will relocate to Michigan this summer. An August wedding is
planned in Detroit.
