M

aria’s Bridal Couture
at West Bloomfield’s
Orchard Mall has
been offering exclusive bridal
designs for almost a decade,
but now they have even more
reason to be a destination bridal
boutique.
Maria’s has “tied the knot”
with Israeli fashion house
Orabella — making the local
boutique the first U.S. flagship
store for the Israeli haute couture
bridal brand.
Boutique owner Nadica
Ristivojevich has always been

passionate about presenting her
clients with unique and couture
designers with trunk shows,
displays and access to the most
modern styles, so she is thrilled
to be a flagship for Orabella.
“An opportunity to align
with a fashion house like this
one doesn’t come to everyone,”
Ristivojevich says. “We know
our community will embrace the
Israeli-made designs and appre-
ciate their one-of-a-kind beauty.”
In launching Maria’s for
Orabella, the bridal boutique will
offer an enormous selection of

Orabella gowns that aren’t avail-
able anywhere else in the U.S.
Ilan Aviv, Orabella founder
and CEO, recently visited Maria’s
for Orabella — a long way from
his home in Ashdod, Israel,
a cosmopolitan city on the
Mediterranean, near Tel Aviv.
When he was younger, he started
out as a medic in the armed
services but changed course and
found his way into fashion mer-
chandising.
“We’re excited to bring our
designs to this area,” Aviv says.
“We also have a small selection

available in boutiques in New
York and Beverly Hills.”
Orabella gowns are known
for their intricate lace detail and
for their seductive yet sophisti-
cated femininity. “For the bride
who is eager to wear something
different and unique, Orabella
is both timeless and modern
with a chic sophistication that
you won’t find anywhere else,”
Ristivojevich says. “They offer
just enough bling to be on-trend,
with hand-sewn pearls and
Swarovski crystals, the finest
European lace and fabrics woven
