M aria’s Bridal Couture at West Bloomfield’s Orchard Mall has been offering exclusive bridal designs for almost a decade, but now they have even more reason to be a destination bridal boutique. Maria’s has “tied the knot” with Israeli fashion house Orabella — making the local boutique the first U.S. flagship store for the Israeli haute couture bridal brand. Boutique owner Nadica Ristivojevich has always been passionate about presenting her clients with unique and couture designers with trunk shows, displays and access to the most modern styles, so she is thrilled to be a flagship for Orabella. “An opportunity to align with a fashion house like this one doesn’t come to everyone,” Ristivojevich says. “We know our community will embrace the Israeli-made designs and appre- ciate their one-of-a-kind beauty.” In launching Maria’s for Orabella, the bridal boutique will offer an enormous selection of Orabella gowns that aren’t avail- able anywhere else in the U.S. Ilan Aviv, Orabella founder and CEO, recently visited Maria’s for Orabella — a long way from his home in Ashdod, Israel, a cosmopolitan city on the Mediterranean, near Tel Aviv.
