Laura and Lee Munder
of West Palm Beach,
Fla., Lisa and Paul Magidson of Wellesley,
Mass. He was the beloved Papa of Alexander
Taubman, Charlotte Munder, Emma and
Charlie Magidson.
Interment was held at Sharon Memorial
Park in Sharon, Mass. Arrangements by
Levine Funeral Chapel in Brookline, Mass.
Contributions may be made to a charity of

SILVER, 55, of Royal
Oak, died Jan. 13, 2016.
He is survived by his
brothers and sister-in-
law, Eric Silver of Los
Angeles, Calif., Marc
and Rhonda Silver of Ft.
Wayne, Ind., and Randy
Silver of Bellevue,
Wash.; nieces and neph-
ews, Bryan and Nicole Silver, Daniel and
Maddie Silver, Alyssa Silver and Jordan
Silver. He was the great-uncle of Cossett
Silver and Levi Silver.
Mr. Silver was the cherished son of the
late Muriel and the late Jerome Silver.
Interment was at Clover Hill Park

members and friends.
Mrs. Solomon was
the beloved wife of
the late Ludwig Moser
and the late Norman
Solomon; the sister-in-
law of the late Alfred Weldon.
Contributions may be made to St. Jude
Children Research Hospital or to a char-
ity of one’s choice. Interment took place
at Adat Shalom Memorial Park Hospital
in Livonia. Arrangements by Dorfman
Chapel.
ELLEN MARGOT
STERN
WESTHEIMER, 93, of
Ann Arbor, formerly of
Delray Beach, Fla., died
Jan. 12, 2016.
Originally a native
of
Cologne, Germany,
Westheimer
she,
at the tender age
c. 1946
of 15, was torn from
her loving parents,
Julius and Bertha Stern,
both murdered by the
Nazis. She was one of
10,000 Jewish children
on the Kindertransport
in 1938, who escaped
death in the Holocaust.
In 1940, she traveled to New York City
where she lived on her own, employed
as a hostess at Schrafft’s restaurant.
She ultimately married her husband,
Bert; and they made a new life together
as chicken farmers in the mountains
of upper New York State nestled in the
Chenango River Valley. Two children
and 10 years later, they relocated to
Michigan. She was sisterhood president
of Gemilut Chasidim in Detroit. In
1976, they moved from Southfield and
then retired to Florida. She returned to
Michigan in 2009.
Mrs. Westheimer is survived by her
son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Jeffrey R.
and Judith E. Westheimer of Brethren,
Mich.; daughter and son-in-law,
Robertha (Roby) Westheimer Cohen
and Dr. Michael Alan Cohen of Dexter,
Mich.; grandchildren, Melinda (James)
Kremsreiter, Jamie (Lisa) Westheimer,
Julie Anna Cohen and Josie Ruth
Cohen; great-grandchildren, Jerik and
Jolie Kremsreiter, Larissa and David
Westheimer, and Polito Navarro.
Mrs. Westheimer was the beloved wife
of the late Berthold Westheimer.
A memorial service was held at Beth
Israel Congregation in Ann Arbor.

Kaufman Chapel.
