Southfield, died Jan. 17, 2016.
She is survived by Lynn and
Paul Lieberman; their children,

and their children, Justin, Rachel
and Joan Applefield, Nate and Ceci
Lieberman, Jack and Renee Fisher,
Alison Miller; her daughters, Cari

Mrs. Miller was the beloved wife
of the late Harry “Ted” Vinacow and
the late Milton Miller; the cherished
mother of the late Marsha Fairman.
Interment was at Machpelah

Farmington Hills, died Jan. 13, 2016.
He is survived by his son and
daughter-in-law, Scott and Janne
Sandler of Birmingham; sister, Edith
Sandler; grandchildren, Emma and
Hanna Sandler; other loving family
members and friends.
Mr. Sandler was the brother of
the late Maurey Sandler and the late
Julie Sandler.
Interment was held at Beth Tefilo
Emanuel Cemetery in Birmingham.

SHELDON
SANDWEISS, 88,
of West Bloomfield,
died Jan. 17, 2016.
He was the
owner of Sheldon
Investment
Company, a real
Sandweiss
estate investment
company special-
izing in all aspects
of real estate. Mr. Sandweiss was
a talented pianist and singer, who
was part of the Detroit Symphony
Orchestra Choir and sang with
the choir of Congregation Shaarey
Zedek. He had a passion for phi-
lanthropy, supporting many Jewish
causes. He was also a member of the
Detroit Tennis Club.
Sheldon was the oldest of
four sons of Norman and Sadie
Sandweiss. Brothers Bertrand and
Leonard are deceased. His last
surviving brother is the youngest,
Henry Sandweiss, married to Gail
Sandweiss.
Mr. Sandweiss is survived by
his ex-wife of 48 years, Miriam
Sandweiss; their four daughters
and spouses: Ruth Sandweiss, Judy
and Mark Kahn, Marsha and Mark
Klein, and Ellen Sandweiss; grand-
children: Judy’s sons: Aaron and
Sarah Levin, Danny Levin and Adam
Levin; Marsha’s daughters: Rachael
and Eric Goldman, and Jamie Klein;
Ellen’s daughters: Jessy Hodges and
Ali Hodges; great-grandchildren,
Mina Levin (daughter of Aaron and
Sarah), Miles Levin (son of Danny)
and Sadie Goldman (daughter of
Rachael and Eric).
Interment was at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery. Contributions may be
