Bais Chabad Torah Center pre-
sented the third annual Good Sukkos
Detroit on Thursday, Oct. 1, in West
Bloomfield.
More than 100 young adults got
together to celebrate the holiday in
Bais Chabad's beautiful sukkah and
enjoyed a Middle Eastern feast while
connecting with other young Jewish
adults of all backgrounds.
Good Sukkos Detroit is a once-
a-year special edition of NEXTGen
Detroit's monthly Good Shabbos
Detroit series, which invites young
adults to experience a Friday night
service and meal at different congrega-
tions across Metro Detroit. For the last
three years, Bais Chabad has played
host to the always well attended event.
Young adult guest speakers from
the Bais Chabad community included
Eliana Leah Silfe, who recently
returned to Metro Detroit to work at
Bodman Law in Detroit after graduat-

Bar Ben Yaakov, who just finished a
two-year assignment as an Agency for
Israel emissary in Paris, was in town
visiting from Israel and shared her
experience working with the young
adult Parisian Jewish community dur-
ing times of anti-Semitism in France.
"Combining what we do through-
out the year with our Good Shabbos
Detroit program and giving it a Sukkot
makeover for this one special night,
Good Sukkos Detoit is always a favor-
ite, and this year was no exception:'
said Good Shabbos Detroit chair and
NEXTGen Detroit Board member Sam
Dubin.
"I'm thrilled that so many people
came out to celebrate with us, and I
want to thank Bais Chabad for once
again being such gracious hosts and
providing us with an authentic Sukkot
experience
The event's corporate sponsor was
