It takes place 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept.
16, at the Max M. Fisher Federation
Building in Bloomfield Township and is
sponsored by the Jewish Bar Association
of Michigan, Patriot Week, the Jewish
Federation of Metropolitan Detroit, the
Cohn-Haddow Center for Judiac Studies,
the Women Lawyers Association of
Michigan and FedEd.

Beth Olam is located on the site of the
Cadillac (Poletown) Plant. Entrance to the
cemetery is through the truck gate, and
the plant security will assist visitors in
locating the cemetery site.

Cemetery) 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 20.
Beth Olam Cemetery was established
in 1862 and remains one of the oldest
historic sites in the local Jewish commu-
nity. With the cooperation of Detroit and
Hamtramck and the continuing support
of General Motors Corporation, Beth
Olam Cemetery has retained the dignity
and spirituality of its founders.
This year, patrons will notice the
entrance sign to the cemetery has been
restored by General Motors. GM contin-
ues to be an active partner with Clover
Huntington Woods
