Bloomfield are thrilled to

of their daughter Ilana Michelle to
Eric John Thomsett, son of Michael
Thomsett of Nashville, Tenn., and Linda
Dinnocenzo of Santa Rosa, Calif.
Ilana and Eric met at Northeastern
University in Boston while both were
completing master's degrees. liana's is
in nonprofit management, with a con-
centration in global studies; Eric's is in
global studies and international affairs,
with a concentration in conflict resolu-
tion.
They reside in England while Eric completes his doctor of politics at Oxford
University. They'll fly back across the pond for an April wedding at the Royal
Park Hotel in Rochester, Mich.

Goldberg of Wilmette, Ill., are
thrilled to announce the engagement of their
children, Jodie Erin Goldberg and Eric Scott
Singer, son of the late David Singer.
Jodie earned her bachelor of arts degree
in psychology from the University of
Wisconsin, Madison and her doctor of
psychology from the California School of
Professional Psychology, San Francisco. She
practices clinical psychology in Chicago.
Eric earned his bachelor of science
degree in mathematics from Michigan State
University. He works as an account manager
and corporate trainer in Chicago.
A November wedding is planned at the Sofitel Hotel in Chicago.

athan Ludman of West Bloomfield
will mark his 91st birthday on Sept.
12. He was born in Rhode Island. He
is a Navy veteran and worked as an engineer.
Nathan was married to Sally in 1949 and was
married for 53 years. He has three daughters
and three granddaughters.
