Township. She is the granddaughter of
Josef and Barbara Herzig, and the late
Anne and Jack Belkin. Alyse's sisters
are Jackie, 12, and Stephanie, 10.
Alyse is an eighth-grader at Derby
Middle School in Birmingham. For her
mitzvah project, she was a madrich
at Temple Beth El and assisted with
housing for underprivileged adults in
the city of Detroit.

mitzvah on Friday,
Sept. 11, at Temple
Israel in West
Bloomfield. Joining
Ersher
in his celebration
will be his sister Mia,
proud grandparents
Stuart Glasier and Susan Thomas, and
great-grandmother Peggy Jesson. Dean
is also the grandchild of the late
Beverly and the late Edward Ersher.
Dean attends the Roeper School in
Birmingham. As part of his mitzvah
project, he volunteered at the St. Leo's
Soup Kitchen to help in the fight
against hunger in our community.

Jacquelyn attends West Hills Middle
School in Bloomfield Hills. As part of
her mitzvah project, she volunteered at
Furget Us Not Rescue, where she trained
and walked the animals; she also assisted
dogs and cats find a "forever" home.

will lead the congre-
gation in prayer on
the occasion of her
bat mitzvah at

Bloomfield on
Saturday, Sept. 12.

Joining in her celebra-
tion will be her proud
parents, Andrea
Rosner Najer and Nelson Najer, and her
brother William. She is the granddaugh-
ter of Marilyn Rosner, the late Wallace R.
Rosner and the late Thomas Nessel.
Sarah is the great-granddaughter of the
late Sadie and Aaron Rosner, and the late
Sarah and Frank Novograd.
Sarah is a student at Walnut Creek
Middle School in West Bloomfield. As
part of her mitzvah project, she donated
to the large animal rescue organiza-
tion Horses' Haven and assisted weekly
giving riding experiences to children
with physical and developmental chal-
lenges.
