knew him and he will be missed.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years,
Rebecca; his children, Randy and Lisa,
his son-in-law, Pinchas; and his grand-
daughter, Bailu, all of Brooklyn. He is also
survived by his brother-in-law, Dr. Cary
Bortnick of Deerfield, Ill.

Southfield, died May 9,

She is survived by

in-law, Ron and Mary Gerst of Redington
Shores, Fla.; grandchildren, Rachel
Morris and Jennifer Morris; sister and
brother-in-law, Julie and Philip Saltzman;
brother-in-law, Lt. Col. Theodore Gerst;
nieces and nephews, Edward Saltzman,
Richard Saltzman, Candice Saltzman,
Laurie Saltzman and Matt Kovatch; great-
niece and great-nephew, Megan Saltzman
and Chad Saltzman.
Mrs. Gerst was the devoted daughter
of the late Jack and the late Theresa
Frankenstein; the dear sister-in-law of the
late Alice Gerst.
Interment was at Beth El Memorial

MARVIN H. GOLDMAN, 94, of
Franklin, died May 3, 2015.
He is survived by his sons and daugh-
ters-in-law, Robert and Sally Goldman,
Dr. Larry and Laurie Goldman, Dr.
Howard and Loriann Goldman; sister-
in-law, Doris Lee Goldman; grandchil-
dren, David, Brian (Christine), Andrew,
Amanda (Ryan), Emily (Chris), Seth,
Daniel, Lisa; great-grandchild, Braeden.
He is also survived by his dog and con-
stant companion, Bear; best friends, Bob
and Beverly Canvasser; many other loving
family members and friends.
Mr. Goldman was the beloved hus-
band for 67 years of the late Nola W.
Goldman; brother of the late Irving
Goldman and the late Shirley Witus.
Contributions may be made to
Temple Beth El. Interment was held
at the Clover Hill Park Cemetery
in Birmingham. Arrangements by
Dorfman Chapel.
