Seth is a student at Clifford
Smart Middle School in Commerce
Township. As part of his mitzvah proj-
ect, he volunteered at Temple Israel's
Hodari Family Children's Library and
Media Center, which he found to be
very rewarding.

in Farmington Hills. For his very
special and meaningful mitzvah proj-
ect, he raised money for Glycogen
Storage Disease 1B through the sale of
Chocolate Bar, a children's book that
describes the friendship between two
boys.

and Alexa. He is the grandchild of
Elizabeth and the late John Maloney,
the late Loretta and late Arnold
Katzman.
Seth is a student at the Roeper
School in Birmingham. As part of his
mitzvah experience, he grew his hair
out for donation to CWHL, Children
With Hair Loss, which he found to be
very meaningful.

Eli Joseph Levine,
son of Rachel Karp

Mark Levine, will lead
the congregation in
prayer on the occasion
of his bar mitzvah
Friday, May 8, at
Levine
Temple Israel in West
Bloomfield. Sharing in
his celebration will be his brothers
Bradley and Maxwell. His proud grand-
parents are Marilyn and Dr. Stanley
Levine, and Deborah and Dr. Martin
Karp; great-grandmother is Rose Bohm.
Eli attends West Hills Middle School
in Bloomfield Hills. As part of his
mitzvah project, he adopted a family
with a single parent and three boys
for the holidays through Volunteers of
America. To purchase gifts, he raised
funds through donations and matched
each dollar given with his own money
and was able to deliver the gifts to the
family directly, which he found to be
very meaningful.

Halle Randolph will
celebrate her bat mitz-
vah as she is called to
the bimah on
Saturday, May 9, at
Congregation
Shaarey Zedek in
Southfield. She is the
Randolph
loving daughter of
Abby and Eric
Randolph and sister to Josh and Jessica.
Halle is the grandchild of Leah and
Howard Levinsky, and Janet Randolph
and great-grandchild of Moe Sell.
Halle attends Berkshire Middle
School in Birmingham. Her most
meaningful mitzvah experience has
been volunteering for the Matthew
Bittker Foundation to help raise money
for pediatric cancer research.

Ellie Rose Schiff,
daughter of Carolyn
Band and Brian Schiff,
will read from the
Torah on the occasion
of her bat mitzvah at
Temple Israel in West
Bloomfield on Friday,
Schiff
May 8. Joining in her
celebration will be her
sister Ava and proud grandparents
Barbara and Larry Schiff, and Marijane
Einstein. Ellie is also the grandchild of
the late Louise Band and the late Jerry
Band.
Ellie attends Abbott Middle School in
West Bloomfield. As part of her mitz-
vah experience, Ellie collected toys for
children at Haven of Oakland Country,
which she found to be very rewarding.
