HEROES WANTED:

CAROL GREEN,
59, of Clawson, died
April 3, 2015.
She started her
successful career
as a program man-
ager for the Boy
Scouts of America.
Green
She later returned
to school to earn
her occupational
therapy license and worked as an
occupational therapist and OT man-
ager at hospitals and nursing homes
around the greater Detroit area. She
specialized in treating traumatic
brain injury and was an aging-in-
place specialist.
Ms. Green was a proud co-owner
of and business development man-
ager of Transitions Remodeling and
embraced their mission as her own:
to help all people manage all of life's
transitions, helping people of all ages
stay safe and independent in their
own homes.
She carried on her mother's tradi-
tion of being a humorist and was a
well-known public speaker. Many
people loved Carol, and she cared
for them physically and emotionally.
A lifelong thespian, Carol had many
passions outside of work, including
theater, gardening, flower arranging,
traveling and being an aunt. She was
a tireless volunteer for many causes,
including the Michigan Brain Injury
Association, Parkinson's Association
and Stagecrafters. She proudly
walked as a balloon wrangler in the
annual Detroit Thanksgiving Day
Parade.
Ms. Green is survived by her
father, Dr. Robert A. Green; broth-
ers and sisters, Susan and Dr. Mark
Henderson, Janet V. Green and the
Honorable William Williams, Daniel
Green and Dr. Hilary Haftel, Bert
and Jen Green; nieces and nephews,
Erin, Ben and Abby Henderson, Paul
and Kady Williams, and Samantha,
Lirit and Shoshana Green; many
other loving relatives and a world of
friends.
Ms. Green was the devoted daugh-
ter of the late Lila Green.

95, of Southfield, died
April 3, 2015.

many loving nieces and nephews.
Mr. Katzman was the beloved hus-
band of the late Ruth Katzman; dear
brother and brother-in-law of the late
Eva and the late Ben Garrison, the late
Ruben Haron, the late Abram Nuss.

died April 1, 2015.
She is survived

Kinney, Katy Phillips,
Melissa and Chris Frayer, and Jamey and
Kim Phillips; sister and brother-in-law,
Robin and Ben Baker. She is also sur-
vived and loved by Peyton and Max.
Mrs. Kevrick was the loving step-
mother of the late David Shayman; the
dear sister of the late Cary Kevrick.
