The conference room, with a sunny yellow
accent wall, incorporates all the logo colors, with
mix-and-match placemats from Bed, Bath and
Beyond and multi-colored chairs from All Star
Interiors in Southfield. "I'm big into cartoon bub-
bles," says Krieger-Cohen, who ordered the custom
decals from ScribbleOnEverything.com . Industrial-
style pendant lights from Home Depot reminded
Krieger-Cohen of "something Edison might have
in his office. Besides meeting with clients, this is
where the staff meets to brainstorm together, and
I wanted it to be the creative hub of the office."
Often, clients ask to stay and work here after a
meeting. "It makes us really happy and proud that
people feel the intent of CKC, and the authentic
energy," she adds. '7AR LEFT: Krieger-Cohen calls
this her "wall of positivity." She loved the cover
of the book Let Your Spirit Soar, so she framed it.
NEAR LEFT A pair of barstools in the kitchen, part
of a group purchased from a recently shuttered res-
taurant, line high-top tables, making the space feel
like a little bistro.
King decorated four
framed chalkboards, which hang outside the kitch-
en as does a light-up "Eat" sign from Michael's.
Along the hallway, where magazine cover stories
on clients are framed, a trio of sevens guard the
entrance to Krieger-Cohen's pink office. The spiri-
tual Krieger-Cohen, who helped launch the career of
renowned psychic (and close friend) Rebecca Rosen,
says the numbers hold special meaning for her. "My
grandmother, as well as other relatives, was born
on 7/7, and I see the three numbers often," she
says. "In one of my first readings with Rebecca, she
told me that my grandmother was one of my spirit
guides. For me, it's like having my grandmother
watching over me, right outside my office."
