Mrs. Levi was the beloved wife of the
late Benno Levi; loving daughter of the late
Seigfried and the late Helen Hess; dear sister
and sister-in-law of the late Liesel and the
late Aryeh Mayerfeld.

BERNIE LIS, 80, of West Bloomfield, died
Dec. 18, 2014.
He valued family more than anything,
supporting and encouraging his children
and grandchildren in all their activities and
in their education. As a professional photog-
rapher from an early age and as the founder
of a computer business starting in the 1970s,
Mr. Lis also taught computer programming
at Lawrence Tech. His family will miss his
humor and good nature, and travelling the
world together.
Mr. Lis is survived by his beloved wife,
Betty, to whom he was married for 54 years.

JOYCE SAKWA, 86, of
SHERRY LOWENTHAL, 60, of Bloomfield
Hills, died Dec. 20, 2014.
She is survived by her father, Curt
Lowenthal of West Bloomfield; brother and
sister-in-law, Mark and Sandra Lowenthal of
Maplewood, N.J.; niece and nephew, Haley
and Ian; many other family members and
friends.
Sherry was the beloved daughter of the
late Elaine Lowenthal.
Interment was held at the Temple Israel
Gardens of Beth El Cemetery in Livonia.

NORMAN P. OCHS, 88,
of Bloomfield Hills, died

Mr. Ochs retired at age
50 as a JAG Commander
in the Navy. He served
in World War II and the

He is survived by his wife of 67 years,
