He valued family more than anything, supporting and encouraging his children and grandchildren in all their activities and in their education. As a professional photog- rapher from an early age and as the founder of a computer business starting in the 1970s, Mr. Lis also taught computer programming at Lawrence Tech. His family will miss his humor and good nature, and travelling the world together. Mr. Lis is survived by his beloved wife, Betty, to whom he was married for 54 years.
