Israel Trip Leader
From Our Community!

nnette Meskin of Sylvan Lake, Michigan, is a veteran traveler to Israel, having been to the
_ Jewish state more than 50 times. As a past missions chair of National Hadassah, she has led or
,._
coordinated more than 25 trips to Israel, including five trips with Detroiters to Israel and Eastern
Europe. She recalls her most memorable trip came in 2006 during the first Lebanon war, when Hadassah's
two buses were the only tourists in the North. She also has led trips to Egypt, Lebanon and Jordan.
Meskin has served as president of the Greater Detroit Chapter of Hadassah and in several capacities as a
national officer. She has been a Hadassah national board member for 35 years, one of the longest-serving
members to date. "I do this," she says, "because I want as many people to visit Israel and love it and come
back to America as positive spokespeople for our wonderful land."
