hosted a boat cruise on the Detroit
River on Thursday, July 24. With
an attendance of more than 110
Jewish adults, Detroit's NEXTGen
community cruised Roaring '20s
style upon the Diamond Queen
Riverboat.
Greeted by jazz music played
by HMD's Sam Noveck on the

Cruisers enjoying
the buffet line

trumpet as they boarded,
guests enjoyed drinks, hors
d'oeuvres and DJ Jared
Goldman's tunes while they
danced under a beautiful
* sunset and gazed out on the
cityscape of Detroit.
The event was part of
the Jewish Federation of
Metropolitan Detroit's
CommunityNEXT summer
programming, geared toward
providing fun, meaningful,
and exciting programs and
events for young Jewish
Detroiters.
