the broadcast premiere of Eli's Story,
a film featuring Holocaust survivor
Eliezar Ayalon, whose mother gave
him a cup of honey when she sent him
away during the Holocaust, hoping
he would survive. It will air 8-9 p.m.
Sunday, Aug. 17, and will be the cap-
stone of a full day's rebroadcast of the
Simon Schama series The Story of the
Jews, which will begin at 12:30 p.m.
and run until 8 p.m. From 5-9 p.m.
that day, volunteers from the Program
for Holocaust Survivors and Families
of Jewish Senior Life will be in the
studio answering the pledge phones.
