Gavern; beloved brother of the
late Allan Gavern (Jeanne); dear
uncle of Frank Gavern (Denise)
and Adrienne Gavern Tomlinson
(David); great-uncle of Jessica
Tomlinson, Alex Gavern and Nick
Gavern; he is also remembered by
many other loving family members
and friends.
Interment was held at
Machpelah Cemetery in Ferndale.

He was general
manager of opera-
tions for Taylor
Harry Gordon
Rental Company
for the greater Tampa Bay area
and was known far and wide from
Detroit, where he was born, to
Lakeland, where he lived his adult
life.
Mr. Gordon was a graduate
of West Bloomfield High School
and attended Western Michigan
University, where he became a
member of Lambda Chi Alpha
fraternity. He lived a kaleidoscope
of life, enjoying automobiles, radio
broadcasting, camping, and his
family and friends. Mr. Gordon
was a member of a variety of civic
clubs and a past member of Temple
Emmanuel in Lakeland.
An outwardly friendly and gre-
garious person, he made quick
acquaintances and lasting friend-
ships. He will always be remem-
bered for his sense of humor and
his willingness to go the extra mile
to help out someone.
Mr. Gordon is survived by his
daughter and son-in-law, Kristen
Gordon and Daniel Stanek of
Lakeland; son, Erik Gordon of
Orlando, Fla.; sister and brother-in-
law, Barbara and Philip Beaudette
of Georgia; partner, Karen Neubart
of Lakeland; brother-in-law
and sister-in-law, Glen and Kay
Christianson of Minnesota; grand-
son, Logan Stanek.
He was the beloved husband
of the late Donna Christianson
Gordon; the devoted son of the late
David and the late Jane Gordon.
Services were held in Lakeland.

the request of the family by Ira
