ARTHUR SAMUELS, 76, of West
Bloomfield and Tarpon Springs, Fla.,
passed away on Aug. 3, 2013.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51
years, Karen; daughters, Terri Rondeau,
Patti Samuels and Sherri Ciurlik; grand-
children, Troy, Shaelyn, Alyssa, Kristen,
Sydnee and A.J.; a beloved sister and
brother-in-law, Glenda and Robert Lask,
and the members of the Lask family.

JANICE SHERMAN, 77, of West
Bloomfield, died Aug. 6, 2013.
She is survived by her sons and

and Kate Hill of Vero Beach, Fla., Dr.
Leonard Sherman and Rene Lukaszewski
of Naperville, Ill., and Harley and Lana
Sherman of Oak Park, Mich.; grandchildren,

and Matthew; sister and brother-in-law, Suzi
and Elliott Kolodin of West Bloomfield.
Mrs. Sherman was the beloved wife of
the late Jerrold B. Sherman; the devoted
daughter of the late Jack and the late Ethel
Glickstein.
Interment was at Adat Shalom Memorial

Correction
• The obituary for Lucille Okin (Aug. 8)
had an incorrect spelling of sister-in-law
Joann Shecter's name and should have
stated that Mrs. Okin was the dear sister of
the late Benjamin Shecter.
