former Detroiter of Las Vegas, Nev.,
died July 11, 2013.
She is survived by her beloved
husband, Robert Adler; her sons,
Michael Adler (Tuyet), Tony Adler
(Erin), also of Las Vegas; her daugh-
ter, Dana (Michael) Flink of Owasso;
grandchildren, Elana Adler, Aaron
Volpone, Mathew and Andrew
Johnson, Kaila Adler, and Zachary
and Sarah Flink; sister, Sherry Cohen
(Barry).
Contributions may be made to
charity of one's choice.

RUTH
APPLEBAUM, 83,

of Southfield, died
July 24, 2013.
She is survived
by her sons and
daughters-in-law,
Michael
and Diane
Applebaum
Applebaum, and
Alan and Sandie Applebaum; daugh-
ters and son-in-law, Dr. Nadine and
Dr. Jeffrey Eder, and Elyse Guerrero;
grandchildren, Marni and Andrew
Cohen, David Applebaum, Matthew
and Kristin Eder, Kevin Eder and
Molly Barackman-Eder, Katie
Applebaum, Spencer Applebaum and
Jared Guerrero; great-grandchildren,
Alyssa Eder and Jenna Eder; sis-
ter, Trude Ash; sister-in-law, Doris
Applebaum.
Mrs. Applebaum was the beloved
wife of the late Perry Applebaum;
the dear mother-in-law of the late
Manny Guerrero; the loving sister
and sister-in-law of the late Esther
Prohow, the late Milton and the late
Tillie Silverman, the late Joseph Ash
and the late Shirlee Harris.
Interment was at Machpelah
Cemetery. Contributions may be
made to the Jewish Dental Clinic,
25511 Southfield Road, Suite 102,
Southfield, MI 48075. Arrangements
by Ira Kaufman Chapel.
