New York-based indie rock band the
Yeah Yeah Yeahs take the stage at the
Fillmore Detroit on Friday, June 28.

in Israel in 2009, Jewish drummer David
Chase, who's also drummed for the
Brooklyn-based Sway Machinery, a band
that gives traditional Jewish cantorial
music a modern edge, told the Jerusalem

but only recently I've sort of rediscovered
the Torah, which has rekindled the spark
