When Michael Schatz talks
about the last few years, he says
"I had the highest of highs and the
lowest of lows."
An options trader for hedge
funds, Michael was financially
secure. He left his business, he
and his wife moved to Florida,
they invested in new ventures,
and then the economy collapsed.
"It cost me everything. I was
personally left without the money I
needed to continue," Michael said.
"My marriage ended, and I
moved back north. To pay bills, I
was borrowing money from
family members and friends. I'd
never heard of Hebrew Free
Loan, but when it was suggested
to me, I went, and it helped me
through a tough time."
Now remarried with a blended
family, Michael is back in options
trading, and "in a much better place,
where I'm secure and happy."
"I think my failures were positive
messages about perseverance,"
Michael said. "There are always
challenges, and HFL helped me
though mine. I came out the
other side, and others can too."
