to celebrate this summer,
this being our third
anniversary of becoming
a staple of the
community,
engaging young
adults through
intramural
sports leagues
and social
events, and
providing them
JUSTIN
the opportunity
JACOBS
for an active
and dynamic
lifestyle here in our hometown.
In just under three years, we have:
• Engaged more than 10,000
young adults
• Had more than 500 teams in our
leagues
• Hosted an attempt at the world's
largest dodge ball game on Belle Isle
with more than 1,800 participants
• Appeared on ESPN's Top 10 Plays
and Good Morning America
• Hosted the Detroit Lions halftime
show for a Monday Night Football
game
• Organized a softball game at Old
Tiger Stadium
• Received more than $100,000 in
sponsorships from local businesses
• Grown from one men's basketball
league to a full menu of leagues.
We are excited to announce the
hiring of our first full-time employee,
Cleveland "CT" Thurber IV. CT started
with CPD on April 15.
