icah Donald Canvasser,
age 10 months, of Ann
Arbor, was born Jan. 23,
2012, and passed away peacefully in
his parents' arms on Dec. 11, 2012.
Even though his time on Earth was
too short, he was a courageous fight-
er and had a beautiful spirit.
Micah was the son of Noah and
Jennifer Canvasser of Ann Arbor.
He is survived by his twin brother,
Zachary Canvasser.
His paternal grandparents are
David Canvasser of San Luis Obispo,
Calif., and Joanne Canvasser of Ann
Arbor. His maternal grandparents are
Leslie Napolitano of San Jose, Calif.,
and Kurt Wardley of Auburn, Calif.
His paternal great-grandparents
are Robert and Beverly Canvasser,
and Nedra Kapetansky, all of West
Bloomfield. His maternal great-
grandparents are Chester Napolitano
and Carole Napolitano, both of
Milpitas, Calif.
The family would like to extend a
heartfelt thank-you to the wonder-
ful care teams of the newborn and
HOWARD RABOTNICK, 53, of West
Bloomfield, died Dec. 12, 2012.
He is survived by his beloved wife,
Deborah Rabotnick; father and mother-
in-law, Seymour and Esther Rabotnick;
sons, Bryan Rabotnick and Brandon
Rabotnick; daughter and son-in-law,
Jamie and Boris Tuman; brother and sis-
ter-in-law, Barry and Susan Rabotnbick;
brother-in-law, Irwin Galper.
Mr. Rabotnick was the dear son of
the late Barbara Rabotnick; brother of
the late Nancy Galper.
Interment was held at the Adat
Shalom Memorial Park Cemetery in
Livonia. Contributions may be made
to Yad Ezra, the Friendship Circle or to
a charity of one's choice. Arrangements
by Dorfman Chapel.
JEAN SOSIN, 87, of
Glenview, Ill., former-
ly of Bloomfield Hills,
died Dec. 17, 2012.
She was a patron
of the contemporary
glass movement and
was one of the found-

ers, with her hus-
band, of the Alliance of Contemporary
Art Organization. In 1998, she was
honored with the National Glass Award
from the Urban Glass Group.
Mrs. Sosin is survived by her son
and daughter-in-law, Neil and Nancy
Sosin; daughters and sons-in-law,
Debra Sosin and Warren Schwartz,
Micah Donald Canvasser
pediatric intensive care units (NICU
and PICU) at C.S. Mott Children's
Hospital in Ann Arbor. Their incred-
ible love, dedication and support
gave them 10 beautiful months with
their precious baby Micah.
The Child Life program at C.S.
Mott Children's Hospital greatly
enriched Micah's life. In lieu of
flowers, the family would be hon-
ored to have people contribute to
Micah Smiles, supporting Child

Eisenberg; the dear sister-in-law of
the late Edward Chusid, the late Ben
Kofsky, the late Sophie Eisenberg and
the late Beverly Eisenberg.
Interment was at Beth El Memorial
