Sam is an eighth-grader at
Bloomfield Hills Middle School.
Among his mitzvah projects, he
worked for Doggie in the Window
and will make a donation to Almost
Home, a non-kill dog rescue shelter
in Southfield, where he adopted his
dog Jake.

She is the grand-
child of Bea and Jack Mayer.
Julia attends West Hills Middle
School in Bloomfield Hills. She felt
her most meaningful mitzvah project
was volunteering at Friendship Circle
Torah Teens in West Bloomfield.
