Einstein's Jewish Science: Physics at the
Intersection of Politics and Religion

Moshe Arens

Flags over the Warsaw Ghetto

The Nazis famously tried to denigrate Albert Einstein's
theory of relativity by calling it"Jewish science."

When the Nazis entered the Warsaw Ghetto
on Passover eve, April 19, 1943, they expected some
rumbling, but for the most this would be a clean,
easy operation to empty the area.

What is "Jewish science"?

MUM 1 1UPPIMINCI

Einstein was working at the same time that Jewish
writers and artists like Freud, Schoenberg and Tzara
were radically changing their fields. Writers were trying to understand what
it meant to be Jewish in an urban industrialized world. How does science
influence politics, religion, philosophy and history?

Instead, they found a small but determined army
of Jewish men and women. Using little more than
pistols and Molotov cocktails, this daring group
managed to hold back the Nazis, under the command
of SS Gen. Juergen Stroop, until May 16.

1 p.m.

The Warsaw Ghetto Uprising was the largest Jewish uprising during
World War II and a symbol of bravery and heroism. Until now, though,
the complete story of the uprising was never known.

Andrea Lieber

The Essential Guide to Jewish Prayer & Practice

In Flags over the Warsaw Ghetto, Israel's former minister of defense
tells this true story of the uprising, including the existence of two
resistance organizations in the ghetto. A thrilling, astonishing and
unforgettable story.

Mossad: The Greatest Missions
of the Israeli Secret Service

Michael Bar-Zohar and
Nissim Mishal

Presentation by Michael Bar-Zohar

The Mossad is the great intelligence-gathering
agency in the world. It's also among the most
enigmatic.

THE GREATEST

The Lunchroom Jungle identifies key areas where stress
creeps in and disrupts the way a child functions at
home, at school and with friends. The book uses the
I.D.E.A. Method, created by Neal Alpiner, M.D., to help
parents develop strategies to reduce and eliminate the areas in a child's
life that cause stress. Parents are guided through a series of steps that
can help their children become happier and well-adjusted.

bringing Adolf Eichmann from Argentina to Israel, and tracking down
the murderers of Israeli athletes in Munich — to the least-known, like
secret assassinations of Israel's greatest enemies.
