ELEANOR SHOENBERGER
BERMAN, 94, of California, died
Oct. 2, 2012.
She is survived by her sons, Ross
Berman of Oak Park, Joel Berman
of Detroit; daughter, Joan Berman
of San Francisco, Calif.; daughters-
in-law, Linda Berman of Oak Park,
Joyce Berman of Philadelphia, Pa.;
grandchildren, Sari Berman, Greg
Berman.
Mrs. Berman was the beloved wife
of the late Phillip Berman; loving
mother of the late Alan Berman.
Interment was held in California.
Contributions may be made to
Alzheimer's Association, 20300 Civic
Center Dr., Ste. 100, Southfield,
MI 48076. This announcement was
placed at the request of the family by
Hebrew Memorial Chapel.

JACK BORIN, 96,
of Orchard Lake,
died Oct. 3, 2012.
He was the owner
of Borin Builders
Supplies.
Mr. Borin is sur-
vived by his wife

of 70 years, Belle

Cheryl and Ron Riback, Bonnie
Borin Riback, and Joyce and Larry
Sherman; son and daughter-in-law,
Dr. Andrew Borin and Lori Moore;
grandchildren, Benjamin and

Jason Riback, Lauren and Jason
Garfield, Heather Borin and her
fiance, Steven Duke, Katie Borin,
Zachary Riback, Ilana Riback,
Jordan, Dustin, Darrien, Jolie and
Jared Sherman; great-grandchildren,
Ava, Ella and Jacob Riback, and Lyla
Garfield; sister, Bernice Boorman;
sister-in-law, Bette Borin; many lov-
ing nieces, nephews, cousins and
friends.
Mr. Borin was the cherished
brother and brother-in-law of the
late Ben and the late Paulette Borin,
the late Dr. Maurice and the late
Julia Borin, the late William Borin,
the late Ralph and the late Phyllis
Borin, and the late Ted Boorman.
Interment was at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery. Contributions may be

DOLLY DUNITZ
BROWN, 89, of
Franklin, died Oct.
7, 2012.
She is survived
by her daughter and

and Tom Glaser
Brown
of Georgia; son,

Berlin; grandchildren, Amy Berlin,
Jeffrey Berlin, Andrew Berlin, Russell
Glaser and Max Glaser; great-grand-
son, Ethan Moscot.
Mrs. Brown was the beloved wife for
61 years of the late Bernard B. Brown;
the loving mother of the late Barbara
Berlin; the devoted daughter of the
late Max and the late Ethel Dunitz; the
dear sister of the late Shirley L. Dunitz,
the late Daniel B. Dunitz and the late
Saul G. Dunitz.
Interment was at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery. Contributions may be made

PHILIP H. DRESCHER, 93, of Port
Huron, died Oct.1, 2012.
He is survived by his beloved wife,
Connie Drescher of Port Huron; sons
and daughters-in-law, Peter and Micki
Drescher of White Lake, Charles and
Robin Drescher of Seattle, Wash.;
grandchild, Max Ryan Drescher; many
loving nieces, nephews, other family
members and friends.
Mr. Drescher was the brother of
the late David Drescher, the late Al
Drescher, the late Agusta Goldstein
and the late Minnie Drescher.
Contributions may be made to the
Port Huron Yacht Club or to a char-
ity of one's choice. Interment took
place at the Clover Hill Park Cemetery
in Birmingham. Arrangements by
Dorfman Chapel.
