Bloomfield Friday, Sept. 21, as they
celebrate their b'nai mitzvah. They
are the twin sons of Deborah and Dr.
Robert Ernst and the brothers of Alexis.
Sharing in the simchah will be proud
grandparents Debra and Max Ernst,
and Donald Alexander. They are also
the grandchildren of the late Ellen Ernst
and the late Marian Alexander.
Jason and Matthew are eighth-grade
students at West Hills Middle School in
Bloomfield Hills. Among their various
mitzvah projects, they both felt pro-
viding dinners to families at Ronald
McDonald House was the most mean-
ingful experience.

Abigail attends O.E. Dunckel Middle
School in Farmington Hills. She per-
formed many mitzvah projects but felt
volunteering at Relay for Life was the
most meaningful.

Attending Oak Valley Middle School
in Huron Valley, Megan felt it was very
meaningful to help children with special
needs at West Bloomfield's Friendship
Circle as part of her mitzvah experience.

Silverstein, and Phyllis and Steve
Strome; and great-grandfather, Dr. Jerry
Kornheiser, all from West Bloomfield.
Melissa is also the great-granddaughter
of the late Mildred Kornheiser, the late
Rose and the late David Strome.
Melissa is an eighth-grade student
at Orchard Lake Middle School in
West Bloomfield. Her mitzvah projects
included participating in and get-
ting others to participate in the West
Bloomfield/Farmington/Farmington
Hills CROP Hunger Walk.

Max is an eighth-grader at Walnut
Creek Middle School in Walled Lake.
His mitzvah project was volunteering
during the summer at a boys' camp.
