Ambitious brothers score a hit with Twist Frozen Custard and Yogurt.

T

he concept has gone over so big
that after opening only about four
months ago, plans are already in
place for a second operation.
This success-story is the dream-come-
true of two community-ites who desired a
spot like this since they were youngsters.
Their enthusiastic ambition constantly
burned within them with fervent rapid-
ity until brothers Scott and Michael
Simonovic said goodbye to their previous
vocations and followed the vision they had
since childhood ... To have a place they
always dreamed of owning.
Scott and Michael got together and
brought that dream into reality by opening
Twist Frozen Custard and Yogurt, across
from Meijer on Haggerty Road, north of
Maple in Commerce Township.
Scott had been a waitperson at Andiamo
Livonia three years, plus bartender at the
former Loving Spoonful
in Farmington Hills, and

items ... Instead, it became a full-fledged
restaurant serving foods of the world.
After seven years, when the former
Mosaic makes a complete reversal into
a new-style Greek restaurant named
Santorini Estiatorio, serving traditional
but modernistic food preparations, it is
