We've served our country, raised our family and worked
hard to be where we are today. We've earned every minute
of our retirement - and we're not about to slow down
now. That's why we've chosen to live in a great retirement
community, where we have the time and opportunity to
enjoy life to the fullest.

Jewish
Bees
"One day
last week we
had our two
grandchil-
dren for the
whole day,
with planned
activities
for every
minute,"
writes Gail
and Sidney Minyz. "Lunch was
supposed to be outdoors at Drake
Sports Park. After a lengthy long
distance phone call it was 12:30
p.m. I said, 'Let's have our picnic at
the kitchen table and play outside
afterward. Grandson Avery Gach,
5 3/4, of Bloomfield Township, was
disappointed and asked, 'Why can't
we eat at the park?' I said, 'The bees
will be swarming all around and we'd
be unhappy: He wanted to know why
there are so many bees around now. I
replied, 'They are busy making honey
for Rosh Hashanah' He said, 'I didn't
know the bees are Jewish."'
