RAYMOND
RUBINOFF, 77, of
West Bloomfield,
died Aug. 10, 2012.
He is survived
by his beloved wife
of 49 years, Trudy
Rubinoff; daughters
Rubinoff
and sons-in-law,
Ronna and Steven Zoll of Chicago,
Ill., Denise and Mitch Bokolor of
West Bloomfield; grandchildren,
Sam, Jamie and Matthew Zoll,
Samantha and Jordyn Bokolor; many
other loving family members and
friends.
Mr. Rubinoff was the devoted
brother of the late Irving Rubinoff.
Contributions may be made
to the Dorothy and Peter Brown
Jewish Community Adult Day Care
Program. Interment took place at
the Oakview Cemetery in Royal Oak.
Arrangements by Dorfman Chapel.

SAMUEL SAK, 86,
of West Bloomfield,
died Aug. 11, 2012.
A decorated
World War II Navy
veteran, Mr. Sak was
a Navy Corpsman,
trained at Great
Sak
Lakes Naval Base.
He ran three differ-
ent wards and achieved the highest in
morale ratings. A member of Jewish
War Veterans and the Veterans of
Foreign Wars, Mr. Sak became an
electrical contractor and was a mem-
ber of the International Brotherhood
of Electrical Workers. He was also a
member of the Michigan Handball
Association and the Ballroom Dance
Association.
He is survived by his daughters
and sons-in-law, Cheryl Piotrowski
of Ann Arbor, Beverly and Philip
Feinberg of San Diego, Calif., Dr.
Debra and Robert Hollander of
West Bloomfield, Julie Blumberger
and Rabbi Avrohom Blumberger
of Chicago, Ill.; grandchildren,
Michael Piotrowski, Matthew
Piotrowski, Alexa Piotrowski, Laura
Feinberg, Megan Feinberg, Jessica
and Daniel Rosen, Evan Hollander,
Golda Blumberger, Rabbi Moishe
Blumberger and fiancee Mushka,
Mushkie and Rabbi Mendel
Silman, Devorah Leah Blumberger,

a world of others, Mr. Sak was the
former husband of the late Ann Sak
Kantor; dear father-in-law of the late
Gregory Piotrowski; loving brother of
the late Louis Sak.

JOANNE WEINTRAUB, 72, of Ann
Arbor, died Aug. 6, 2012.
She was a piano teacher.
She is survived by her partner
of 18 years, Duane Rorabacher;
daughter and son-in-law, Beth Snitz
and Goetz Veser of Pennsylvania;
grandsons, Felix and Benjamin Veser;
brother, Dr. Gerald Weintraub of
Farmington Hills; many nieces and
nephews.
Mrs. Weintraub was the loving
sister of her late identical twin, Joyce
Adelson; the dear sister-in-law of
the late Dr. Rosalyn Weintraub; the
devoted daughter of the late Joseph
and the late Mae Weintraub.
Interment was at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery. Contributions may be
