A Devoted Healer

D

r. Seymour Krevsky, 92, of
Bloomfield Hills, died July 11,
2012.
Dr. Krevsky enjoyed a wonderful and
fulfilling life, enriched by his care for
and dedication to patients and their
families, his devotion to his faith and
his love for music and travel, which he
shared with his family.
Dr. Krevsky practiced pediatric medi-
cine in the Detroit area for nearly half
a century: first in the Fisher Building
in Detroit and then in his Birmingham
office for more than 30 years.
Among his professional activities, Dr.
Krevsky was a member of the Oakland
County Medical Society, contributing
articles to the society's medical journal,
as well as a former board member of
the Children's Aid Society of Detroit.
His staff affiliations included Children's
Hospital and Beaumont Hospital.
Dr. Krevsky's devotion to the well
being of others was demonstrated in

PAUL LUTZ, 75, of Sarasota, Fla., died
June 26, 2012.
After serving with the Army Corps
of Engineers, Mr. Lutz became a stock
broker/financial planner in 1961. Until
his recent illness, he worked at Morgan
Stanley.
He was the beloved husband of Karen;
dear father of Craig Lutz of Grand
Rapids, and Nicole and Daniel Weiss
of West Bloomfield; dear brother of
Sidney and Diane Lutz of Huntington
Woods, and Sheldon and Gail Lutz of
Bloomfield; grandfather of Aidan Lutz,
and of Alexander, Andrew and Joshua
Weiss.

LYNNE (KRIEGER) MAZUR, 57,
passed away July 10, 2012.
A native Detroiter, born to Faye and
Saul Krieger, she moved to Los Angeles
in 1974 with her husband, Jeff. Together
they had three children, Michael,
Jonathan (Susan) and Jessica. Besides
being a wonderful wife and mother, she
was also a devoted sister and aunt. Mrs.
Mazur was an avid reader and enjoyed
spending time with family and friends.

Philadelphia. He completed his pediatric
residency at the University of Chicago.
Dr. Krevsky served in the U.S. Army as
a captain in Korea and Japan, and was
a Lt. Col. in the USAF Reserves, trained
as a space physician in its aerospace
program.
Dr. Krevsky is survived by his wife,
Margery; stepson, Joseph Stearns of
Chicago; brothers, David Krevsky
of Dearborn and Jay Krevsky of
Harrisburg, Pa.
He was preceded in death by his sis-
ters, Ethel Shapiro, Marcia Levine and
Pearl Scher; and brothers, Herman and
Harold.
Contributions may be made to the
Krevsky Scholarship for the Arts at Lock
Haven University or to the Congregation
Shaarey Zedek Music and Arts Fund.
Interment was at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery. Arrangements by Ira Kaufman
